Not much in the way of substance, but if you want some angry, ass-kicking, head-banging stompers, then this is for you. Most of the tracks are delivered at under 3 mins, so they're short, to the point, straight punches of sheer nosebleed inducing drum and distorted guitar! Top Tracks: In The Walls, From Grace We've Fallen, Somethings Off, Dissonance
Favorite Tracks: 3. Seven Enemies 4. In the Walls 6. Us Against Us 9. Slaughtered in Their Dreams 11. Walking the Knife 13. Serve Your Masters
When the first track enters with slightly faster tempo and half-inspired leads, one is tempted to give high hopes to Hatebreed’s latest album The Concrete Confessional, which is also their third shorter. Unfortunately, the rest follows suit to deliver another brand of Metalcore tunes, exhausting shouts and football-chant, unconvincing clean vocals. Is this the best the band can do?Highlights: “A.D.”, “Something’s Off”.
