Delbert is, without a doubt, the master of roadhouse blues, and this album is the best of the best. The songwriting is stellar, both musically and lyrically -- no one turns a phrase better than Delbert -- and his performances here are stunning. Honestly, you cannot go wrong with this album, and if you enjoy this style even a little, I *guarantee* you will love it.
